Alzheimer’s Association Event at the Japanese Friendship Garden

As many as 5.3 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease.  Alzheimer’s destroys brain cells, causing memory loss  and problems with thinking and behavior severe enough to affect work, lifelong hobbies or social life. Alzheimer’s gets worse over time, and it is fatal. Today it is the seventh-leading cause of death in the United States.  The Abbey Catering & Event Design are more than proud to be helping in an upcoming  event being held at the Japanese Friendship Garden on June 9th to thank all the volunteers at the  San Diego Alzheimer’s Association.  We believe strongly in giving back to the community and the valued older members of our society.  For more information on this dreaded disease and how each and everyone of can help in the fight, click here to see some newly published facts and figures.
