The Abbey Catering and Event Design was proud to be a part of the IIDA awards ceremony. The Holiday Gala ‘White Party’ was held at the beautiful Linge Roset showroom in the heart of La Jolla’s downtown, originally the first theater in town. This beautiful space has been done up with a modern contemporary design, including great pieces of elegant furniture filling the grounds, making it a great for this particular party. As the guests checked in and their coats taken, they were welcomed with a specialty White Russian cocktail. The guests entered the store into every interior decorators dream, and admired all the lovely furnishings . Every square foot of the showroom showcased a wonderfully unique look, with great styles throughout the entire place.
On the previously located Ligne Roset checkout counter was the fully stocked bar with bartenders at the guest service to mix the night away. Right beside them was the lovely Abbey staff tray passing our signature Array of hummus and fresh made pita, also their was bruschetta station with a picture perfect tri-colored Bruschetta with a combination of sun dried tomatoes, the finest feta cheese, and fresh homemade pesto on a toasted crustini. After the guest took their seats for the awards to be presented our team quickly put together two of the Abbey best our glamorous slider station with pulled pork and vegetarian sliders. Along side was our Mashed potato martini bar station with every side topping you could imagine from; sour cream to bacon, Vermont cheddar cheese, fresh chives, slow cooked maple bacon, grilled onions, roasted garlic and suated mushrooms. The food was outstanding thanks to our very own chef Amanda and the Abbey’s delicious menu. The Event owes a big thanks to Kellie McCormick and her team for choosing the Abbey. Also a big thanks to Linge Roset and their staff from the Abbey, it was another wonderful event.
