The fusion of uniqueness and experience @CuvierClub

I have been coordinating weddings for a while now and every once in a while there comes along such a unique wedding that leaves me so pumped up that I just want to somehow learn from the new experience and be able to pass along a new perspective to any of my bride and grooms. Chelsey and Bobby  married on 10/21 at the beautiful seaside Cuvier Club on a day that started rainy and ended up a beautiful. Tradition is always important and when you can incorporate that to any wedding in a sophisticated upscale way that brings life and uniqueness that your guest will never forget. This was by far no ordinary wedding. This was a first for the Cuvier Club and for the Abbey Staff to partake in such a unique event. It was the fusion of traditional Japanese and Hawaiian culture.

It wasn’t the traditional dances and timeline but one that was truly breath taking and exciting. The bride and groom welcomed their guest by performing on massive drums that was synchronized to traditional customs. Bobby played for the guests as they entered the ballroom of the Cuvier Club only to be followed by a traditional Bonsai Toast for the grand entrance. The food was  just as impressive . We prepared a buffet of Japanese/Hawaiian cuisine for the guests to experience the culture everywhere they went. After the dinner, the Wai Wai drum team performed another amazing set playing from the stage and the dance floor. What was more impressive is that Chelsey and Bobby also performed through the whole ceremony of music. To take part in, and to have witnessed such an amazing and unique wedding helps me to plan and guide other clients with their choices which, in turn, elevates  their wedding to another level. Experiences like these gives each and every bride and groom the opportunity to make their wedding that much more special for you and your guests.
