So you’re engaged and it’s time to start looking into wedding venues–where to begin?! Let Team Abbey guide you through your options–our company actually works with the majority of all venues in San Diego.

Though it’s not a brand new venue, it is a very popular option; especially for all of you DIY couples out there– say hello to BRICK!

BRICK is an open-concept, unique space with vendor flexibility and a 24-hour rental period! Named after it’s authentic brick walls, BRICK is a historical site in the Arts District of Liberty Station, which originated as a commissary for the naval training base. Nowadays, Liberty Station in Point Loma is one of the fastest trending mixed-use developments in San Diego. There’s tons of parking, cool boutique stores and restaurants, historical landmarks and very convenient for you guests to get in and out during your wedding weekend–there’s even a Courtyard Marriott and a Homewood Suites by Hilton in Liberty Station so guests can crash there if need be.

 

Enough of the history, let’s talk about some of the main perks!

First, let’s talk about the main perk: NO SOUND ORDINANCES and an ALL NIGHT RENTAL! This is unheard of in the San Diego area– if you’re yearning for that late night party feel and dancing your pants off is your priority without the hotel vibe, this is the place for you!

The room has a rustic yet modern vibe which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. It has soft natural light that trickles through its antique original windows. The pressed concrete floor provides an industrial look that creates a nice, large built-in dance floor perfect for dancing the night away. They also have a unique roll-up garage door in case you want additional outdoor access or if you have any vendors outside for the guests to access. As is, the room has enough personality to create a beautiful ambiance–just add tables and chairs and you’re good to go. One of the biggest perks is their open vendor policy–this allows you the ultimate freedom and flexibility to transform the venue to fit your exact vision.

For your ceremony and photo ops, NTC parks have several areas you can get permits to host your ceremony and lots of free areas to access for photos with skyline views and marinas.
