About The Venue
This uniquely beautiful space is still a functioning Woman’s club to this day. The outdoor area is a luxurious lawn garden with fountains and expansive oak trees providing some lovely shade for your guests. There are three areas to have your wedding ceremony. Two are on the front lawn that can seat 200 and one is in the back side garden that can seat 120. The entire property can accommodate up to 200 guests. A fourth option for your ceremony is located about 3 minutes away on foot on a bluff overlooking the ocean.If choose to exchange your vows in the garden the space boasts a gorgeous English style fountain as your backdrop for stunning photos. Regardless of where your ceremony takes place, definitely take advantage of the proximity to the ocean and take some lovely photos by the water after the ceremony.
The glorious La Jolla Woman’s Club wedding venue is ideal for small intimate parties of close friends and family. The ceremony and the reception feels perfect and not to mention the food from our amazing chefs will hit the spot. If you’re looking for a true San Diego wedding be sure to consider this venue.
Inside the clubhouse the ballroom boats manicured hardwood floors for dinner and dancing. There are two adjacent rooms to the main area that are great for larger guest counts and can be utilized for a buffet, bar, photobooth or other stations. At the end of the room there’s a fully functioning stage for a band or DJ to get your guests rocking out and cutting loose! Guests can still access the outside grounds for fresh air under market lights or under the veranda surrounding the property.
Venue Pricing
The Club rental is $3500-$4500 depending on the day of the week and time of year. The venue includes tables but you do need to rent chairs from an outside source or from The Abbey Catering. You are required to use their in house bar service Bar Works. The curfew is 10pm. There’s plenty of street parking and a few parking garages nearby for your guests. Insider tip; the best street to park on for your guests is Draper Ave.
