The Lane Venue
The Lane is San Diego’s premiere waterfront venue with fabulous views, modern amenities, and ideal proximity to hotels, the airport and downtown!
The Lane offers 12,000 sq feet of versatile interior & exterior event space. Our layout is intentionally designed to create an effortless event flow between two indoor, interconnected gathering areas and a covered waterfront terrace.
The elevated terrace overlooks our beautiful San Diego Bay and historic Lane Field Park; perfect for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and a romantic sunset view.
Every rental includes:
- 14 hours of the entire venue for event, set up, and tear down
- This includes a 14 hour use of the private, furnished suite!
- 1 hour rehearsal time
- 30 wooden top dining tables, 15 wooden top cocktail table, & 1 half moon rolling bar
- 300 white compas chairs
- Set up & tear down of our inventory in the floorplan you create
- Stylish restrooms
- Large-prep kitchen
- Surrounding sound system

This week we are giving you an early heads-up on a brand new venue that will surely make your ‘must see’ list. Taking on their third full-sized event space, Moniker Events is at it again–say hello to the latest and greatest, The Lane! There are many reasons to love The Lane, but we think that it is a perfect combination of coastal and urban. A lot of our brides and grooms are looking for that classic San Diego coastline wedding with epic ocean views, but they find there aren’t as many options as they would like, the guest capacities are too small or the venue spaces are a bit more antiquated than they would prefer. Furthermore, some of those spots are so popular that availability is a big challenge. At The Lane, you really get the best of all worlds–it has an epic water view, on-site outdoor ceremony options, a 280 person sit-down dinner capacity with hip, modern decor.
Venue Details
Located just south of Waterfront Park near Little Italy, The Lane offers 12,000 square feet of usable space–the outdoor terrace alone is 3,500 square feet, which is perfect for a waterview ceremony and/or a perfect sunset-facing cocktail hour. Inside, the tall ceilings make the main event space extra spacious which is furnished with 300 unique modern chairs and 30 oak wood tables (a huge savings!). It also includes a private, stylish bridal suite with modern amenities and a spacious area for Abbey Catering to set up their remote kitchen for on-site cooking and service.
Any worries about your guest accommodations? Not to worry! The Lane is in close walking distance to the Marriott Bayfront and InterContinental San Diego so all your guests can be close by for the festivities.
