The Point
The Point is a hidden gem on Mission Bay. This combined total of 4,000 square feet of private event space is adjacent to an iconic Waterfront Ceremony Spot and partnering venue Tower Beach Club. This encompasses a 2500 square foot blank canvas reception space, “The Bay Room ” with a beautifully architected plant chandelier to hang over your dance floor. Couples are able to host up to 120 guests seated or 200 cocktail style with a mix of high tops and seating for a more laid-back reception.
The Point offers a tech-forward space that uses high-resolution flat screens for custom digital signage and personalized photos. These also come in handy for any corporate event needs. It comes equipped with sustainably sourced raw wood tables from the local wildfires, live plants, lounge furniture, and white resin folding chairs. A 1,000-square-foot private outdoor garden is connected that contains market lights, shade sails, fire pits, and games. A beautifully designed 18ft raw wood cedar table in our glass enclosed Conference Room is perfect for your head table or a double-sided buffet.
This is the perfect spot for those looking for a sustainable and open-air space. Between the wood tables sourced from the Julian wildfires and living installations of colorful succulents, this venue has everything you need to host an environmentally conscious event!
Looking to add an aquatic adventure to your event? The Point shares a backyard with the Mission Bay Sports Center, offering a full fleet of watersports including a 45-person Water-taxi for cocktail hour, sail boats for the groomsman to sail in on and jet skis for the mother in-laws to ride off into the sunset together. Activity coordination services available!

Fridays: $5000
Saturdays: $6000
Sundays: $4000

***additional $350 – $600 hour (depending on group size and seasonality)
***Add On a 2-stall luxury restroom trailer for $1000 if you prefer a private option
Packages include tables and chairs for 120 guests along with garden games (Corn Hole, Jenga & Darts).
Special Note on Parking:
The Point is located on Mission Bay Park where parking is free, first come first serve. There are 90 spots outside of the space and another 200 adjacent to the parking lot (5 min walk) on Santa Clara Place. Parking in the summer months tends to get a bit congested, a plan can be put in place for a shuttle service or golf cart pickups. Parking in this area cannot be guaranteed or reserved, so having a good plan is all that it takes to make sure your guests get there in a swift manner!
