From the first moment my fiance and our parents met with Robert Battoe for our initial tasting, I knew that The Abbey would be my best choice. He was funny, professional, and made my wedding as stress free as could be. We were in Los Angeles, but getting married in La Jolla, so we went with the all-inclusive package. Logistically, vendor meetings could have been a nightmare, but I was able to leave everything in the capable hands of Petr Trebin (our coordinator), who arranged everything. Between Petr and Robert, all our concerns were alleviated, and we had no issues at all with any of the vendors.The food was absolutely delicious. We requested bacon (because I LOVE it), and they worked it into a beautiful presentation with asparagus.Pretty much every comment I’ve had about the wedding is how much fun everyone had, and, granted, we have a lot of fun relatives and friends. But I attribute most of the joy of the day to The Abbey. I never had to worry about anything, because Petr was there to guide us around the whole day.Can you tell I like them??? I would recommend them to anyone for a wedding or party – they are the best.
